Teen Arts New Jersey works with professional artists to provide high-quality programs to address the needs of arts educators directly in visual and performing arts classrooms.
Our Professional Development Programming offers school districts the opportunity to support their arts educators with meaningful workshops to learn new skills and engage in tangible topics relevant to their teaching practice. We offer hands on skill building workshops that teachers can bring back to their classrooms for a more diverse and exploratory curriculum, along with teaching strategies and pedagogy.
We currently offer Professional Development programs in visual arts, music, and theater. Our programming includes traditional based arts practices, technology integration within the arts, and portfolio building and pedagogy.
Participants receive a Certificate of Completion documenting their Professional Development hours after completing the workshop.

We can provide Professional Development in the following format:
In-District Professional Development: We will provide on-site half-day and full-day training for school districts.
Virtual Professional Development: Online webinars that you can participate in live with an instructor or can be watched once recorded.
Professional Learning Communities: Opportunities to come together to learn about a topic and then share ideas in practice with colleagues from across the state who are also in the classroom.
