MILENA WILTON
Visual Arts
Milena Wilton is a contemporary artist from Red Bank, New Jersey. Milena obtained a BFA in painting and drawing at the University of Hartford. During her academic career Milena played on the Hartford NCAA Division I softball team. Milena sees the act of making art very similar to the act of playing a sport. Both activities are physically and mentally demanding but extremely rewarding. Milena believes that with enough dedication and determination, greatness can be achieved in any discipline. Milena was recognized by the Hartford Art School with the Rudolph Zallinger prize for painting excellence. Her paintings have been included in juried shows across the nation. Most recently Milena's work was selected for display at the New Britain Museum of American Art in Connecticut. Her ultimate goal as an instructor is to foster the very same interest in the arts she had as a girl and set young people on the path to great artistry.
