Jun Winter

Filmmaking

Jun Winter began his career and earned his degree at the New York Film Academy studying Acting for Film and Filmmaking.

Jun has written and directed four films  (Think for yourself, Journey to The other side, Quarantine Love, & How to Support Businesses), achieving awards for Best First-time screenwriter For Top Shorts Festival 2019 & Los Angles Film Awards 2019.

He is currently developing several new projects and pursuing new opportunities in motion pictures as a director while bringing his knowledge to the classroom.

He has received training under Marc John Jeffries (Losing Isiah, The Haunted Mansion, Notorious) and Roger Hendricks Simon (Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, Linoleum, The Ticket).

Jun starred in several off-Broadway Productions such as The Tempest, Othello, and Romeo & Juliet, crossing into professional Film and Television working on projects such as: The Outside Story, Nerve, and Nico.

Jun Winter was awarded the 2022 Best Supporting Actor in a Drama For Love Undone at The Independent Series Awards in Hollywood California.

Lastly, Jun expresses a passion for teaching the art of filmmaking and is dedicated to the growth of new talent within the Arts High program.
