Acting for Comedy
This class will cover comedy from top to bottom, from basics to expertise. Students will walk out with proficiency in improv, standup comedy, and sketch writing/analysis. All while having an amazing time!

Megan Hayes is an actor, writer, dancer, and comedian whose work can be seen on stages and screens across the Tri-State area. She has worked with Playwrights Horizons, Are Nova, Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, Clubbed Thumb, Dixon Place, Pipeline Theatre Company, Fresh Ground Pepper, Stonestreet Studios, NYU, Columbia University, and with the industry's leading writers, directors, producers, and makers. Her comedy has shared stages with the likes of Jerry Seinfeld and Jim Gaffigan and she has performed at many historic NYC comedy touchstones. Megan studied Drama at NYU Tisch and is a proud alumni of Actors Playground. Most recently, you may have seen her in FBI or Blue Bloods on CBS.
