Part of our grant funding for the TANJ Youth Arts Initiative will go towards our Student Summer Internship Program. Priority will be given to students who reside or go to school in Asbury Park.

2026 Summer Internship Interest Form

The goal of the TANJ Youth Arts Initiative Internship Program is to provide students with real world opportunities to participate in job roles within the Creative Arts Field.

We will work with our community partners to place students in paid internships during the summer of 2026, placing them into roles relevant to their areas of interest within the arts. Interested students can apply for the student internship program from April 2026 through June, 2026. Students will be placed in the internship program from June 2026 and to August 2026.

Students will be eligible to work up to ten hours a week for five weeks at $16.10/hour. Students will be paid directly by TANJ for their work. 

Internship Work Requirements:

  • Students must be 16 years of age or older.
  • Students are required to submit completed working papers
  • Students/caregivers must provide required identification
  • Students must fill out a w-4 form and an I9

  • Students must track their hours and submit a timesheet at the end of each pay period
