2025 Arts Educator of the Year Elisabeth Campbell

Ms. Campbell’s dedication to her students in the Dramatic Arts, and the community has been an invaluable asset to Cumberland Regional High School. She established and grew the Dramatic Arts Academy Program, designed to foster students’ personal, intellectual, and social development, while arming them with skills and experiences necessary for potential future careers in the performing arts. Through this initiative, she has secured in-residency programs for students and fosters opportunities for them to engage directly with working professionals in theatre and has established college accreditation for several courses in her program. She has been instrumental in organizing and leading several community outreach programs, including the traveling Children’s Theatre, visiting local elementary schools with third year students, the summer program run by rising Dramatic Arts seniors, directing student fall plays, and assisting student spring musical productions. Beyond the classroom, she serves on several advisory committees, including the Gay Straight Alliance, Team Theatre, and the Thespian Honor Society. She serves as a mentor for new teachers and facilitates professional development workshops for her peers and colleagues.
